Throughout our lives, we have witnessed the challenges faced by veterans, families, youth, and individuals experiencing hardship. We have also seen the difference mentorship, guidance, community support, and opportunity can make.
Pathways exists to help people move from where they are to where they aspire to be. Through service, stability, and leadership, we create opportunities that strengthen individuals, families, and communities.
From Vision to Impact — 2026
Pathways Community Outreach Foundation was built on a simple belief — that stronger veterans, stronger families, and stronger communities create a stronger Alaska. Here is the documented journey from an idea to a federally recognized public charity.
Pathways Community Outreach Foundation, Inc. was formally incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in the State of Alaska, establishing its legal foundation for charitable service.
The Internal Revenue Service issued Pathways its Employer Identification Number, establishing its federal tax identification.
The IRS formally recognized Pathways as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3), with exemption effective September 17, 2026. Contributions are tax-deductible as permitted by law.
Pathways received its Unique Entity ID through SAM.gov, an important step toward federal grant and assistance opportunities.
Full SAM.gov entity registration is not yet complete.These milestones represent more than administrative steps. They reflect our commitment to responsible governance, organizational integrity, and creating lasting impact across Alaska.
